Festival of Cultural Diversity in Nicosia


On the 29th and 30th of November, “Young Ecologists” with the support of the Youth Board of Cyprus is organizing a festival about cultural diversity, in the centre of Nicosia, in front of Phaneromenis church. The festival is also supported by the Embassy of Czech Republic, the Embassy of Austria and the Embassy of Holland as with the support of Europe Direct Nicosia with its presence.

The festival begins on the 29th of November at 19:00, with the projection of three documentaries about cultural diversity and immigration – Where shall I go of Kristopher Malapitan, Melilla Migration of FYEG and Bom dia Alegria of Elina Antoniou at the coffe shop Kala Kathoumena – next to Phaneromenis Church.

On the 30th of November from 14:00 – 19:00 in the afternoon, in front of Phaneromenis church, young people will present through an interactive way cultural elements from different countries where people will have the opportunity to participate and start an intercultural dialogue through music, dance, cooking, art crafts, jugglers, theatre and a photo exhibition by yours truly!
